Sage- Broad Leaf
Salvia officinalis
Broadleaf Sage is a perennial herb that goes well with so many. Sausage, dressing (Thanksgiving), as well as homemade cheese, and butter benefit from the addition of sage. Sage plants grow to be around 20 inches tall on average, but they can grow up to three feet tall. They have gray to green leaf stalks with purple flowers. New or dried sage leaves are also suitable. Unlike most herbs, and just like oregano, the taste of the dried are more concentrated than fresh.
