These are naturalized in northern and Eastern Europe and the U.S. Along with carrots, parsley, and celery, dill belongs to Apiaceae family. They are found in southeastern Europe, North America and Mediterranean countries. It is well known for its generous leaf. It provides delicious effects with pickles or vegetables. It helps to resolve problems like intestinal gas (flatulence), loss of appetite and digestive problems. Other use includes treatment of cough, fever, bronchitis, infections, spasms and menstrual cramps. Very easy to grow in home gardens. Pickles anyone?
