Also known as German Thyme, or Garden Thyme this herbs leaves can be used in meat, stews, sauces, soups, and salad dressings. Thyme is most commonly used for cooking, however, it has an ancient medicinal history, and was even worn as a deodorant. Many home gardens cultivate it as a decorative and functional herb, and bees use its pollen to make delicious honey. It's easy to grow and adaptable to wide wide range of climatic conditions and soils. Perennial in most USDA zone.
