Calabrese, is one of the most popular types of broccoli for both large growers and home gardeners. This open pollinated broccoli from Italy, forms large richly-flavored heads, then generous side shoots for the rest of the season. As we've said before, broccoli is a health game-changer. Chock full of potassium, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, A, oodles of B vitamins, potassium, magnesium, manganese, copper, iron, zinc, protein, and the list goes on! It can be eaten raw, sautéed, roasted with garlic and almonds, used to make casserole or quiche. It's always good and always good for you.
