Pea-Green Arrow English Pea
Pisum sativum
English peas are one of the most delicious vegetables in the kitchen. There is no comparison between new garden peas and store-bought peas. At each node, the open pollinated Green Arrow Pea develops two pods. For fast and easy harvesting, pods expand outward. Pods are narrow, dense, and have a point on each end. It can be used as a protein replacement and the fibers in this plant help indigestion. It is rich in vitamin B like folate.
