Green Oakleaf lettuce is a type of butter lettuce whose leaves grow from the stem. Maintains its robust flavor throughout intense heat and drought, and even after bolting. As a semi-head lettuce, its good as either a cut-and-come-again or head lettuce. You can also plant a lot of seeds close together and harvest entire plants young (28-30 days), perfect for a spring mix salad, high in Vitamin A and C.
