Lemon Basil
Ocimum basilicum citriodorum
Delicious basil with lemony aroma and flavor due to its citral content (same as lemon grass, lemon verbana, etc). The leaves are small, narrow, and oval-shaped. Will need to be pinched back just like other basil. Just like other basil, also contains high levels of Vitamin K, and moderate levels of beta carotene, also contains vitamin C, calcium, folate, iron, magnesium, manganese, copper, and omega-3 fatty acids.
