The Long Island Improved Brussels Sprout variety is a open pollinated, annual, heirloom. The semi dwarf plant will reach maturity in 90-120 days and reach 24 in. These low calorie vegetables are a excellent source of vitamin C and are easy to grow. Delicious when simply roasted with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. The leaves are edible as well and taste a lot like collards.
